2006 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

There is nothing I like more than a Black Corvette. Something about ANY generation body just looks right covered in deep, black paint. This 2006 Corvette Convertible 3LT Z51 is the perfect example of a C6 and comes to you with a PERFECT CarFAX and AutoCheck history too!

The finish is remarkably clean and really shows the level of care that this car has had since new. There are a few minor blemishes like stone chips a few millimeters in size, or a small scuff, but NO damage, dents, or disrepair. It shines beautifully, and if you go through all 100+ photos on the website, you will see it from EVERY possible angle.

The Convertible top is super clean, and has no stains, scuffs, rips or seam brittleness. Rear glass is perfect, and the defroster works like it should. All of the weather stripping is soft and supple and seals up perfectly. Side glass and windshield also are issue-free, and so are the headlights, tail lamps, marker lamps, and fog lights. The 18-inch front and 19-inch rear Chrome aluminum wheels show incredibly well with only the left front having minor curb marks, and it has a brand-new set of Hankook tires with less than 100 miles on them!

Inside, the 3LT option package adds practically everything you could get on a Corvette in 2006, including Heads-up Display (HUD), dual 6-way power sport buckets with perforated inserts, Dual-zone climate control, memory package, Power mirrors, Power windows and locks, Auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated seats, power telescopic and manual tilt column, and more! Factory options include the BOSE Premium sound with 7-speaker system and 6-disc in-dash CD Changer, and satellite radio! The Cashmere and black interior shows beautifully, and there are no rips, tears, stains, or damage to be found on the interior. All of the switches look like new and function as they should. Radio works on all settings and the CD changer functions perfectly. Each speaker has been checked and tested for functionality, and the whole system sounds amazing. Door panels, kick panels, rear panel and trunk all show wonderfully too with no damage or issues. It looks like you would expect a Corvette to look after being driven an average of just over 1,900 miles a year since new!

There are no historical codes in the DIC, and no check engine or warning lights. All of the lights, wipers, dash lights, interior lights, and flashers work like they should. The car starts and idles cleanly, has a nice rumble, and is ready to go whenever you are. The manual snicks into gear without issue, and the car pulls strongly through each of its 6-gears without any issues. Clutch take-up is factory fresh feeling with no issues. Braking is solid and sure without any pulling or excessive fade. The Z51 package gives you GU6 axle, 3.42 ratio, higher spring rates, larger stabilizer bars, larger brake rotors, and power steering cooler.

This Vette handles SO good you will want to drive it everywhere! Steering is tight and responsive with ZERO slop and an an almost 1-to-1 feel between your arms and the wheel. The car corners wonderfully, with a tail end that is very adept at letting you know when you are getting close to breaking loose. This era Corvette is very forgiving, and they are a blast to drive on curvy roads.

I can't say enough about this example, and I think whoever gets it will be VERY happy!
