1980 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

This Corvette spent much of its life as part of The Schroeder Family Collection in St Charles, MO. It is an unrestored car and is perfect for someone who wants to drive and enjoy a car and not worry about a stone chip or driving on rainy day. White paint is clean, but has its share of minor blemishes like chips, scuffs and other marks. Thankfully it's white, so it's not really that noticeable. The glass is clean all the way around and shows no chips or cracks. T-Tops work as they should, and don't leak when you spray the car with a hose. Headlights go up and down and function in high and low beam. Brake and parking lights work like they should. Turn signals are temperamental and work sometimes but not all the time.

Powertrain is STRONG, and the car starts, idles, runs, drives and performs beautifully. It has the L48 engine, so replacement parts are cheap and plentiful, and maintenance is a breeze too. 4-speed shifts smoothly, the car doesn't run hot, and it just came down here on a 60-mile trip mixing freeway and city driving with zero issues. A/C does not work although all components appear to be in place.

The interior is clean and shows well but does have its share of imperfections upon close inspection. Seats have light patina and wear, with some repairs affected by prior owner. Center console armrest shows scuffs and scrapes, and the carpeting is worn in spots. You can see it all in the photos, and it's not terrible, it is just not concourse perfect. Shifter is topped with Hurst ball, and an aftermarket head unit was fitted to provide Bluetooth and modern tech. Gauges are sporadic, and power antenna is non-functional.

The 350 V8 was given Edelbrock intake, valve covers, and air cleaner and a recent tune-up with plugs and wires. It runs and drives incredibly well and handles and brakes as it should too. Original mag wheels show great and are wrapped in updated radial tires. Brakes are solid and sure and have no chatter or pulling. It is a perfect car to take out for a cruise on a Saturday, take to a show on a Sunday, and just park in the garage until you need it again.
