1965 BACKDRAFT COBRA

This BackDraft BDR Blackout Edition is car number 1310 and was hand-assembled by the team at BackDraft Racing for the one and only prior owner. 

Clean Florida title in hand and titled as a 1965 Roadster.

It was selectively optioned to be one of the finest Blackout Editions you will find, and the build is highlighted by the addition of a SpeedFanatix ROUSH 5.0 RSC Coyote Supercharged V8 engine and Tremec TKO600 5-speed transmission. HP is rated at 610, with torque at 585 ft/lbs. 

The car has just over 4,000 miles since new, and has been carefully maintained and serviced by BackDraft in Boynton Beach, or the Authorized dealer in Naples. All service and maintenance documentation comes with the car, as well as the full BackDraft owner's dossier, with every bit of information surrounding the car and its build in one easy to review binder. 

Black finish is exceptionally nice and shows the level of care the car has received. There are less than a handful of blemishes like a stone chip or small scuff, and all are under 3-4mm in size. Red race stripes show beautifully, and both the German Fabric convertible top and the vinyl tonneau are in like-new condition.

Everything on the car functions as it should, and there are no items that need addressed. 

Mechanically, electronically, and functionally, the car is exceptional and has been garage stored since new. 

I have personally driven the car about 54 miles, and found ZERO drivability issues. Braking is solid and sure with no chatter or pulling. Power steering is light enough that anyone can feel comfortable driving, but still firm enough to provide great feedback when more spirited driving takes place. Engine is raucous, and pulls like a train through each gear with no sputters, stutters, or issues. Transmission shifts cleanly through each gear, and clutch take-up is smooth, sure, actuates perfectly.
